Curriculum

Mablethorpe Primary Academy Curriculum

At Mablethorpe Primary Academy, we believe every child deserves an ambitious education that prepares them for success in learning and in life.

Our curriculum is designed to provide pupils with the knowledge, skills and memorable experiences needed to become confident, successful and responsible members of society. Through high-quality teaching, enriching opportunities and strong community links, pupils develop curiosity about the world, pride in their achievements and the confidence to embrace future opportunities.

Everything we do is underpinned by our values of Resilience, Aspiration, Kindness, Honesty, Respect and Positivity. These values shape how we learn, how we treat others and how we contribute to our school and wider community.

We are proud to serve the coastal community of Mablethorpe. Our curriculum is carefully designed to broaden horizons, raise aspirations and ensure every child has access to opportunities that inspire, challenge and prepare them for the future.

Our Curriculum Drivers

Aspiration

We inspire pupils to aim high, believe in themselves and recognise the opportunities available to them. Through ambitious learning and enriching experiences, children are encouraged to develop high aspirations for their future and the confidence to achieve their goals.

Community

We help pupils develop a strong understanding of their local community and the wider world. Children learn how they can contribute positively, show responsibility and make a difference through active citizenship and meaningful community involvement.

Experiences

We believe that memorable experiences enhance learning. Educational visits, visitors, enrichment activities and hands-on opportunities help bring the curriculum to life, deepen understanding and create lasting memories.

Communication

We prioritise the development of vocabulary, speaking and listening skills across all areas of the curriculum. Pupils learn to express themselves confidently, articulate their ideas effectively and engage thoughtfully with others.

Belonging

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected and supported. We believe that children thrive when they feel a strong sense of belonging and are encouraged to celebrate both their individuality and the achievements of others.

Through our curriculum, we aim to develop knowledgeable, resilient, aspirational and compassionate young people who are ready to make a positive contribution to their communities and beyond.
