PSHE Lead - Mrs K Dixon

At Mablethorpe Primary Academy, we believe that positive mental health and wellbeing are essential to children’s happiness, learning and success. We are committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, listened to and supported.

Our aim is for all children to develop the confidence, resilience and emotional skills they need to thrive both in school and in the wider world. Through positive relationships, high-quality teaching and a strong focus on personal development, we help children understand and manage their emotions, build healthy relationships and develop a positive sense of self.

Mental health and wellbeing are promoted throughout school life and are embedded within our Jigsaw PSHE curriculum, school values and everyday interactions. We encourage children to talk openly about their feelings, seek help when needed and develop strategies that support their emotional wellbeing.

We recognise that children and families may sometimes need additional support. Our Family Support Worker, Mrs Rebecca Dawson, is available Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm to provide advice, guidance and practical support for families via appointment at the office.  If you have any concerns regarding your child's wellbeing, emotional health, behaviour or education, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Dawson, Mrs Levitt or another member of our team.

By working in partnership with families, we strive to promote healthy minds, positive wellbeing and ensure that every child has the opportunity to flourish.
