Geography
At Mablethorpe Primary Academy, we want pupils to develop a curiosity and fascination about the world and the people who live in it. Through the study of Geography, children gain an understanding of their local area, the United Kingdom and the wider world, whilst developing the knowledge and skills needed to become informed and responsible global citizens.
As a coastal school, Geography provides a powerful opportunity for pupils to explore and understand the unique environment in which they live. Through fieldwork, enquiry and real-life experiences, pupils learn about both human and physical geography and develop an appreciation of the world around them.
